It is very simple but you gotta make sure the lighting stays consistent. Natural light tends to change and it can ruin the shot 🙌🏻

And if your character does a drug, or gets hit on the head, or has a dream, or feels overwhelmed, you can back up while holding the camera and zoom in at the same time ( it creates a really cool effect ) . Also, if you are ever turning/panning a camera on a pedestal, use a rubber-band to turn it, it smooths it out and gets rid of the jerky-motion.

With tip five (pt 2), I've done it so many times but it's always a gamble for me because the lighting between the two clips is often different, so the split is pretty obvious :( I try to film with minimal times between the videos, don't change anything in the background, and film inside without any natural light interfering as much as I can, but the lighting is always inexplicably different >:/

If ur in iphone hold down for a sec and itll lock the exposure. That’s probably ur problem :) I’m sure other phones have this option but I just use iPhone so it’s all I know.
