Unfair Comparisons Ultimate: All My Tarot Decks!

Grrrl, you are so brave to be doing all that in one video! I do the same thing every few years, laying out a swarm of my decks to simultaneously compare card by card in a great tableau, but just for myself, not for the Universe at large. I don't do it all in one day though!! I like to check my memories of how the different decks I have do or don't speak to the same issues. I turn all the top cards in the morning, one card each day, placing the top card in the deck under that same deck, so all the decks stay in order and nothing gets lost or bent. Getting through the whole 78 images takes almost 3 months, allowing for the occasional day when I miss. Thank goodness I don't have animals walking all over my tables! Anyway, it's all very zen and contemplative, and reminds me how much I really appreciate the potency of artistic expression. You done good!

That is a really cool idea, Arya! I bet that would be a good time to journal too. I like that! When I was first learning the tarot and only had like 8 decks, I'd pull my card of the day from each deck and set them all out together. This would be a really good way to reeducate yourself on the tarot. I'm totally trying this...if I can find a table to remain undisturbed for long enough! Tarot: the Great Tableau. 💜😂

👽 :) Thanks for showing all the cards together. Made me realize how much I like the Shadowscapes Tarot, when I once thought it was too confusing and busy -- but I looked up a close flip-through and I'm surprised at how much I really like the imagery now. Guess I wasn't ready for it before :) Also, the Shadowscapes' Death card (the phoenix) is just lovely. I'm also going to pick up the Children of Litha, which I've been hemming and hawing about for a long time because it's so expensive for me due to shipping + customs fees which will end up making the deck cost around US$89. (One of the few things I dislike about Children of Litha is the Emperor card, and I'm a tiny bit unsure about the Hierophant.) I love the other Majors, and the Sun in particular is incredible! Thank you for taking the time to do this, I really enjoyed listening to your thoughts on each card.

Thanks, PaintedTurtle! SAME about Emperor and Hierophant in Litha. It's one of my favorite decks but it is one you'd have to be pretty sure of with that price tag. I spent 7 hours total on this video yesterday including prep time and just getting all the cards back in their respective decks afterwards took an hour and a half, so it means a lot to know a few people have enjoyed it. 💚

I trimmed and edged Modern Witch myself. I like it like that a lot! Ok, the decks from left to right 💜Row 1: Tarot of the Divine, Dark Angels, Dark Wood, Shadowscapes, Tarot of the Cat People, ??it's the Biddy Tarot deck but I can't remember what it's called. 🖤Row 2: Santa Muerte, Wild Unknown, RWS, Modern Witch, Marigold, Children of Litha, Starchild. 💚Row 3: Muse, Moon Power, Halloween, Vision Quest, That 90s Tarot, Sasuraibito, and Moonchild.
