Good luck Josh.. I have been waiting for a refund from Cathay Pacific..1year and 6 months.. They said I needed an onward flight to fly in to Cambodia..I explained I did not need an onward flight ..They insisted otherwise I could not check in.. I booked an onward flight.. They kind of admitted via a bunch of lies I did not.. I demaned they refund me..Still waiting ..One and half years on..😢

I think airlines do this because they know most people won't fight for a refund back. For most, it isn't worth the hours of hassle and frustration to recoup $15. That's also why a lot of companies make their return policies so annoying to dissuade people from returning the item.

Super short sited business model. If I have a bad experiment with an airline, I won’t be rebooking..if I can’t return a dress online, I wont be repurchasing..

On IST-TUN they serve free meals anyhow, so they probably figured no need to get him the meal he booked. On shorter Nouvelair flights they would have a number of hot meals available, the booked ones plus some extras which they sell during the flight. Nothing looks very apetizing however, so it is relly not worth buying.

I flew with Nouvelair from London Gatwick to Tunis and back at the beginning of last year. I thought they were a nice little airline, plus I was impressed that all alcoholic beverages sold on board were only 1 Euro each (that included miniatures of vodka, scotch, etc.)! However, you're absolutely right about their lax safety procedures. I don’t recall them checking on either of my flights to ensure that everyone was buckled up for take-off and landing, etc.

Gate E3, we flew home from E1 two weeks ago, unfortunately the signage for the E gates is poor, when you come from the main hall, you only see a huge D gates sign on the left (7:57), far behind it (towards F) there is only a large F sign (no E sign). Only if you walk to the left of the main path in front of the large D sign, there is a "smaller" sign with D and E gates written on it. Funny that @JoshCahill also walked past the E gates, because the small sign at 8:06 (looking towards the main hall) does have the E gates written on it, unfortunately the E gates are only "visible" on this sign if you walk towards the main hall. Josh has encountered this several times where he pays extra for lounge access on an economy ticket, or he pays for an upgraded meal at any time its offered, and the airline doesnt deliver, then its a big deal. It just seams to be happening all too often on these low budget carriers in 3rd world countries over there. Its an obvious scam. Dont be silly.

It was likely billed as one purchase (the flight and the meal) so you can't charge back only the meal, you would need to charge back the entire thing. Which isn't fair to the airline because he did get the flight

Actually you’re incorrect. If you order 5 shirts for $22 each and get 4. You can call your card issuer and let them know you got billed for 5 and only received 4. They will refund you the $22 plus tax. The only thing you would have difficulty with, would be the shipping charges. If they charged you $10 for shipping, it would be difficult to get the $2 per shirt, shipping!

You then are given options of paying for extras. Baggage, Seats, Meals. When you finalize your transaction. You are e mailed a detailed receipt. You simply send your card issuer, this receipt! Isn’t that the way your last ticket, was done? You have bought a ticket online before, haven’t you??? Obviously, you just want to troll comments and come off like an expert, when you’ve never flown or had a credit card in your life! Oh Snap 🫰 And the point isn’t moot or even mood as you claim! 🙄😂😂

It originates from the 19th century when European colonial powers saw Africa as a backwards, "dark" continent, which they used as a pretense to carve it up into colonial possessions against the will of the inhabitants and extract as much wealth as they could. The genocide and atrocities committed by your own country in Namibia as well as King Leopold of the Belgians in Congo is still remembered worldwide with great revulsion. This is the reason that term is no longer in use today, at least in the English language, for the horrible images it brings back especially to the mind of black people.

Flew with Tunisair and Nouvelair already. Tunisair is comparatively pricey and most of the times heavily delayed. Also I think that some Tunisair planes are a safety hazard. Nouvelair is a classic low cost airline (similar to Ryanair) but it’s usually cheap and mostly on time. So definitely the better choice

I flewn nouvelair last days ago and it was a disaster. I paid 2100 tnd per person whith out any service and no bagage (300tnd extra for the bagage) for a round trip marseille tunis to Tunis marseille. Then i must choose the seat (20tnd) for the final that the seat is not possible and they have no refund. And i take a 3 hours delayed. So instead take Tunisair. They changed the last mounths and they are greats
