Maybe somebody knows more about the current situations in that time, but to me Adrian Fitipaldes was a lyrical and vocal genius, he sometimes didn't deliver live. But just listen to how much emotion he puts in this entire album, it is unreal to me that an entire band like this can create such a masterpiece that is Singularity it brought things to a whole other level. I have over atleast 500+ hours constant replay of this album, and i never get bored of it. In fact it just opens up my mind bit by bit and thats what i think Adrian was trying to deliver. It's motivational and lets you think about what's truly important in this world, aswell as what Terrance Mckenna was trying to make clear in his speech. There is too much emotions in this album. I thank you forever old Northlane. It helped and will still help me through everything in life.

just one epic song. Listened to it after a funeral from a friend of mine. and damn, these lyrics cut it to the pont, and I was seriously touched and began to cry, because my friend commited suicide, and had a serious depression over months & was able to hide it perfectly, for our tragic. ("It's frightening, it's right in front of my eyes") and when the nightmare line dropped, it hit me the most. because of his suicide after this heavy depression, he became the dream and woke up from his nightmare. I'm sure he's watching us, and I hope it's now better for him. these song just hit my feelings right in this moment. thank you, northlane for this epic lyrics. and I'm a normally not a guy to speak out like this, but I felt I had to do this.

Sorry for your loss brother I know what it's like to loose a brother you love. The black dog took of depression has taken 2 brothers that were close to me. And like yourself we didn't realise what they was really going through until it was over. And when it hits you it's like a tonne of bricks. And many occasions what helped to deal with the pain was to tune out to the rest of the world listening to northlane reminiscing on the old days.

I used to not like Northlane. They seemed too bland and repetitive, but now my eyes are wide open. Oh boy, how close minded I was. It makes me reconsider how I feel about certain bands at first impression.

Bloody hell, this band is monumental! Never have I listened to this band not until yesternight. I got curious about these KZbin videos of people auditioning for the previous vocalist's vacant role, like damn! I hate discovering I actually like a band right after someone left the band or right after they disband. Oh well, best lucks for the rest of the band and their future vocalist. I'd love to hear more from them.

Pay close attention Or else you'll miss what's happening We worship the sun Yet we burn it's rays So we seek out the dark So we seek out the shade It's such a mix of emotions We call it regret Chaotic patterns unfold It's such an elegant mess So I'll embrace the pain It's time to face all my fears I've had enough of this game Oh how it brings me to tears And I can only be sure One day I won't be alive Stepping into the future With the brightest of eyes Let time stand still For one second please just stop Oh my It's frightening It's right in front of my eyes Oh my It's right there It's right in front of my eyes Wake up from the nightmare And become the dream That you've always been That you've always seen Wake up from the nightmare Because you are the dream I stand tall grounded here on this earth I'm loooking up at the sky With the stars in my eyes, I'm alive I'm looking up at the sky I see life was my dream all along I'm looking up at the sky My self My world My people My home My everything

why do you compare bands? they are different in their own ways. some people like some bands and some people dont.
@matthewwalker426311 жыл бұрын
The sounds are not what is important in there songs. Its the words. There telling you what you need to know. Look up Ancient Geometry, and the Pineal Gland. Its all about quantum physics. We create our own reality. Find the information. THEN USE IT!
@mattmagee31449 жыл бұрын
does that snare piss anyone else off?
@Tzalmavet8 жыл бұрын
I think the intention was for the snare to cut through the mix yet retain the fatness. It sounds okay but at the same time you can hear how processed it is. Some bands can pull it off, Northlane being one of those bands. I do prefer more natural sounding snares though.

Actually they did. That's what the comment section is for, voicing your opinion. Not everybody has to like Northlane. I guess that person is un-impressed by this song, and he's allowed to say so if he is. He may have said it like a douche but he's still allowed to say it. I personally love Northlane but It's ok if others don't.
