I'm also disappointed that Aldrin didn't challenge the guy's warped thinking by stating clearly that you can't quote Malema as being representative of ALL Black South Africans. I do not think this guy is racist!! He makes so valid points!! BBBEE has done nothing for the majority of black South Africans.. it did not correct a lot of past injustices… it just made ANC cronies richer!! However the Afrikaans language and culture is in danger… Afrikaaners need to make every effort to preserve it!! The Zulu did and they are South Africans but so have a certain autonomy within Zulu nation!! Non-racial SA what is that and where can I find it? South Africa is a racialised and racist country, SA identity what is even that? Some conversations are just flying around and sometimes I wonder where they are enchored. I will say this though BEE is correcting no wrong except enriching comrades and their associates in the main. In terms of language and culture those who don't preserve theirs will have themselves to blame. In terms of race and there's no majority and minority, there's iqhayiya nokuzingca. We have to find a way to live together, whether the government is yours, mine or ours. Let us strive towards a common goal. And that goal is peace in our nation. The problem isn't the Afrikaans language or culture you are welcome to practice your language and culture as much as you but the main problem is teaching in an Afrikaans language in University level when you know exactly that there are many people who dont speak Afrikaans since University is a space that has multiple races, tribes and people from other countries. Even in Kzn at Ukzn or Dut we dont teach in IsiZulu at all because we try to accommodate everyone since we are aware of the fact that there are learners who don't understand Afrikaans, why is this so hard to understand. And sitting here as a human being to say you dont care about other's just shows me as a black South African that you are very exclusionary and you are a problem to this country and that is something we should be aware of as South Africans because the Apartheids main objective was to exclude other people this is exactly what led to the conflicts of the past.
