This was so so insightful, thanks so much for putting this together! I'm getting my shit together to apply for an MBA for 2024 entry.

Hi Ben! I really enjoy your videos and I have got some tangible benefits from your recommendations. I learned to build the 3-statement model in the WSP premium classes using your prom code, and it has helped me land a job at a Fintech company in Sweden. So thank you so much!

So basically MBA is a complete waste of time if it's for actually learning anything and the main reason is to make connections
@rareliquid Жыл бұрын
core classes suck but electives are a lot better you just take them more second year. u also learn a lot outside of the classroom when you’re recruiting, leading clubs and etc

Wow! This was really insight! High quality video. How do you manage to keep posting videos while doing an MBA? Do you hire editors?

Thank you for all the insight Truly appreciated ! Many MBA alumni fall short on describing the academics. Understandably so, but as someone who wants to get PE knowledge, I learn better in a hands-on class rather than doing all the heavy lifting myself. Was wondering if I could get some insight on CBS’s classes and whether the faculty was mostly adjunct as advertised or mostly academic. Also, how it compares to LBS. Seems like any alumni I talk to subscribes to the “fluff”. Thanks again for a great channel!

Hey Ben! I have been a long time viewer of your channel. I am learning Python right now too at my Master of Finance program. Can you elaborate more of you python class? Is it possible for you to post the 5 assignments you mentioned in your class? I would love an opportunity to learn about how you guys learn about python for finance using assignments!

Wow, what you ended up enjoying is a little surprising lol. I thought you'd have enjoyed and got a lot more from the business classes, and something more tangible to come away with and use for your business - were you expecting more from that side? I know you'd applied before you started rareliquid and you'd always wanted to go to business school, but for some reason I always try to connect the two, even when it might not be so apparent 😅 Nonetheless, it's still good that you've improved some other under-developed skills and opened up options for coding, etc. Options are always good!

Are there lazy af people in M7 MBAs 😂 People who genuinely dgaf, are late to classes or don't go, party all day, etc. Who's the laziest person you've met in Wharton so far?
@rareliquid Жыл бұрын
yup and there’s not one person who stands out just a good number of ppl who don’t go to a lot of classes. or ppl who don’t do anything in group projects they are the worst actually
