It’s so nice to see your base pages get used! It definitely makes the scrapbooking process easier when you just have to add photos and embellishments!

Love all of these! You did a good job of showing how you pair up the photos with the pages and then add the embellishments to complete the layout. I love using my base pages, and watching others create and use them is inspirational for me. Thanks for sharing them with us!

I love base pages and find I use them a lot. I keep a full scrapbook full and when I use one I make one to replace.

Melanie this was so fun to watch!!! My fave was the last one but they’re all so fun!

Thanks Tracie! Glad you enjoyed. It’s definitely a “different” way to scrapbook. This particular session I used a lot of premade layouts from classes so there were a few with disgusted photos spots and embellishments but most of my base pages are just like the ones with just cardstock ~Melanie

This is wonderful Melanie! I just love them. You’ve inspired me to go through my base pages to see if I can match photos to them. Thanks for sharing!

That’s awesome! I have to make a deliberate effort to use them or they just end up sitting there. As I love to make them (and now have way to many), I am going to have to do this more often. Have fun ~Melanie

WOW - you got A LOT done!!! ALL of the layouts are AWESOME!!! Interesting tidbit about navy stickers. I didn't check, but I'm thinking it might be the same for me. Have a GREAT weekend!!!

Thanks Kathleen… I also don’t think I have a lot of Navy patterned paper which is odd because it’s such a good neutral. Very interesting ~Melanie

Great layouts. Love that you kept some more simple and less embellished. I need to remember to do that once in a while. I’m with you, not enough navy in scrapbooking which makes me sad.

I wonder why that is? I love Navy and it’s such a good neutral. 🤔~Melanie

Very nice. I loved the zoo layout. The paper is pretty and it fits well. I also liked the birthday one, but kids birthdays tend to be easy and cute. I liked that I got to see Vicky Boutin, used in a layout. I have some of her papers and have a tough time using them. You did a great job. The Page Evans(spelling ?) is so cool. The pictures you took of the flowers are so pretty. They look very professional. The layout is perfect for them. Thank you for sharing . It was fun to see.

Lovely pages! 😀❤ Thank you for this video. It helps to see the page before and then the finished layout! Do you always print your photos the size you need for the base pages?
@ACreativelyCraftedLife5 ай бұрын
Currently yes… I print to order at the moment. Especially for ones that have specific photo placements. For the base pages that are a little more open my default is 4x6. That being said I’ve been struggling with printing photos (not my favorite part) so I’m considering mass printing 4x6 in which case I may end up having to reprint now and then if I need a different size. Still working out a photo printing process that “works” for me. ~Melanie

Hi, I just wanted to let you know that I appreciate you sharing videos like this! I am interested in learning about how you made this video by showing the base pages, then coming back with the finished layout- did you do that by trimming your video? Thanks for any and all help with this! Thanks, Maureen
@ACreativelyCraftedLife3 ай бұрын
Thanks so much Maureen. I film all the “befores” first in one bunch. Sometimes I film as one file and then split in a video editing program and other times I will stop and start between each so that I end up with multiple files. Usually I do this second of it’s going to take me a bit to transition from one set of scraps to the next. Then I make all the base pages and film. Usually this one I can transition quicker so I’ll film as one video and split and insert the “befores”, it’s a bit of video editing but it’s not too bad. Hope that helps. ~Melanie
