Was just gonna say the same thing as J Ryan, like, WHY aren't you in Queensryche. I can sing this, but those highs are right in my limit, but you just nail it, you have some real power and depth in the upper register, then just to add insult to injury, you freestyle some insanely gorgeous higher notes, where we all weren't expecting. I can sing, and I can sing well, but when my voice grows up, I want it to sound like you. As one gigging muso to another, big respect bro.

Will's struggle with the low notes in the first verse shows just how incredible Geoff's range is. He seems to have no limit to how high he can sing and yet has a few really low parts like in Silent Lucidity.

Absolutely, many people don't realize that singers like Geoff Tate and James LaBrie while they have access to higher notes (Like a tenor) are technically baritones and you can tell especially with Geoff's speaking voice that his natural range sits very low giving him a warm resonance in the lower range that guys like me (Tenor for sure) will never be able to replicate. You can really tell in songs like "The Mission", "Empire", and especially as you mentioned "Silent Lucidity".
