Pike Fishing in Atlin BC | Season 3, Episode 8

This week at 4wdoverlandadventures we are fishing for pike in northern Canada!
This episode we have our Toyota loaded up with the rowboat, to go fishing at our favourite fishing spot for Northern Pike.
This special lake, requires traversing 3 beaver dams, that seem to get higher every year. It's a fun challenge to pull the boats over the beaver dams to get to our fishing spot.
Once arrived at our magic pike fishing spot, we drop the anchor and cast our lines. The first cast results in a nibble, the second results in a fish on!
Magic pike fishing is what happens at this lake, every time we go here. We're not so much sports fisher men, you won't really find us trolling on the big lakes. but this magic pike spot, is our favourite place to come once a year to fish for pike, and make fish burgers.

Fished a few lakes, crossed many a beaver dam, and caught some pike, but for the life of me, I just can't figure out what lake system you are on. Snafu lake was one of our favorites. It almost, but does not quite look right. Been many a year, though and memory fades. We did paddle it to the very end past beaver dams and a portage, as I remember. The mid-80s.

You must have been on this system of lakes. It’s not Snafu, but Snafu is beautiful too! There is an unofficial camp site at the last lake that’s popular with the locals
