I watched this a few days after it was uploaded and I didn't realize it was an April fool's joke. Sure there were some moments that felt off, but you were so good at talking about it like it was a real game. I especially appreciate the part at 11:09. Correcting yourself on a mistake as if it's an already existing story really added to the illusion.

I mean I didn't watch the video until just today and therefore wasn't expecting it to be an april fools joke immediately... however soon after starting I was sure it was. That being said however, I admire both the work put into this elaborate joke and the still enjoyable commentary that is part of it. I really enjoyed this video, despite the sudden ending to it and even if you never finished the telling of this false story before stating the joke. Just hearing you ramble about the faults of this fake narrative in a calm and informative matter made it worth listening to.

BTW if this video left you hungering for a danganronpa with mahriu as the protag allow me to suggest danganronpa class swap. Its a completed fanfic that places the SDR2 cast (plus ryota) in the hope’s peak academy killing game. Its a great fic that really captures all of the characters quite well IMO (and it shines some light on mahiru). The grammer is not the best and the first chapter is a bit weaker then the rest but if you can get past that its amazing. Theres even a sequal with the opposite premise staring mukuro. That one only goes up to the first nit of chapter 5 daily life but it is activly being worked on
