I don’t think this will affect the Switch 2 reveal. In fact, this is exactly what I’d expect Nintendo to do. Obviously they need to get rid of inventory, and it being ready for Christmas is how they get rid of it. I don’t think it will affect anything, releasing hardware bundles. Nintendo has to get rid of their current inventory. I mean for anybody who thinks this will affect a Switch 2 reveal, we got a weird double direct last month, we know production will be ramping up in the coming months, and we know it has to be announced by May 2025

I wouldn't overthink it. Switch sales are really low so they're gonna do a final bundle push for this holiday. It doesn't make sense for them to delay the reveal and release of Switch 2 any longer because they as a company need to move on for more sales.

Not really, because if you didn't know back in 2016 the day before the NX reveal trailer. Leakers actually said the Switch was supposed to be revealed in September 2016, but Was delayed to October 2016 due to the fact Mario NX (Mario Odyssey) wasn't working right. So September could actually work

I'm sure when Nintendo halts production of manufacturing more Nintendo Switch consoles, then we'll know it's closer to the big reveal fallowed by a showcase of launch games and additional information on the platform and its eventual release date and price point. That's typically the sign that the previous console of that generation is reaching the end of its lifecycle. Until then just enjoy the final content offerings of the Nintendo switch. I'm sure price cuts are coming again in the near future and will continue until Nintendo sells off all its remaining stock of factory-sealed switch consoles.

Parents will see the switch 2 announced and a brand new shiny OLEd sale and go “I’ll just buy that for my kids instead so they can play that new Mario and I don’t have to spend as much” Then anyone else will upgrade to switch 2. I don't want a Nintendo Switch 2, the first one is terrible. I want a whole new console, and better than that a whole new next gen console with good games and lots of em. I want Virtual Console and I want classic games to purchase instead of renting them from a terrible online service. Less weeb crap and more original Nintendo brand games that aren't just cheap watered down re-releases. I know, I'm asking too much. Because the truth is, Nintendo died with Satoru Iwata and Reggie leaving his role was the real kick while Nintendo was down. I really want better for Nintendo.
