Again, the influence of Larry David is evident, because when you compare Curb to Jerry's awful projects like Bee Movie, The Marriage Ref, and this garbage, the difference is night and day.

I went and saw this movie in theaters. I could tell the audience wasn't happy with me as I kept having to uncrinkle all 22 pop tart flavors I brought to the theatre. I was teary eyed the entire movie and was gasping for air both from sadness and the ammount of pop tarts that were in my mouth. After the viewing I did what any fan of the movie would do, and hit on the 17 year old girl working behind the counter

At the same time, you have jokes for 5-year olds that older viewers would groan at, as well as a glaring lack of commentary in a film wanting to be satirical & touting how "Kellogg's didn't give us permission for this" that could turn away anyone expecting something more biting. I get the vibe that Kellogg's isn't the target of the humor so much as it's more just part of the setting. My guess as to why this film was made is that it's some sort of Uwe Boll style tax write-off.
