Gotta have a good slip with the Liquidator channels. Working with a pole is a pain if it's squeaking and sticking. That's when I first noticed issues with the blue NXT rubber, squeegee stuck to the glass and wouldn't move lol. Squeeze deluxe and moerman soft rubber is a winner every time. Great vid 👍

Fairy platinum or dreft platinum is not available anymore in Belgium. I am freaking out 😩. Is fairy professional any good? Or are there other alternatives? (I send an email out to P&G to see if they stil are going to make the platinum so fingers crossed 🤞)

I used this stuff years ago and liked it until I got a bottle that was much thinner and less effective, it did however teach me to soap the applicator. Currently using the Squeeze Deluxe with Excelerator/Liquidator and loving it. Shame I hardly use a squeegy these days, if only I had a Liquidator back in the day. 🙂

I always have a "shine" on the glass after washing. Its not that easy to see but when you look at it in direct sunlight it is horrible! Love the Ettore squeegee soap, the best!

How're the Unger Gel's grease-cutting properties? (Fingerprints etc). Does it stay wet longer in direct sun and on hot days? (Like GG4 etc). Does the wind dry it out much? (Compared to dish soap).

It stays wet longer than dish soap and yeah good cleaning power, its only real downside is the slip on the glass is not quite enough for precision squeegees but works fine for all other squeeges 👍🏻😊

This will be a stupid question to the professionals, but, .......... befor putting the gell on the applicator, do you have to put water on the applicator, or do you do it dry 😊

Hi Peter respect, good review again. Dish soap has been on my mind lately. working with the moerman Liquidator is amazing as I know you will agree. Bought two bottles of Moerman soap £9 per bottle adding a little bit of that in with fairy liquid, that's my go to at the moment and I'm wondering if I am going to use long term , the moerman soap or not. I really do like the moerman soap, the smell is amazing, you only need a very small amount, and works perfectly with the moerman squeegees. I am not keen on gels or soaps that don't whiten up enough. I don't think Fairy liquid is even good enough . I am on a quest to find the most white suds I can find, and if there is anybody out there or even yourself that has found anything like that, I would be grateful. Soap is important to me when window cleaning, the customers appreciate a nice soap on the windows, the whiter the better.

I've been using the blue antibacterial Tesco washing up liquid for the last few months mate, bit suddsy but it's the best I've tried and I think I've been through every brand going! Lol. 60p a bottle and it lasts ages.

I do know someone here in germany who uses LEWI Gel and Moerman tools and seems to get along well with it :) But yeah all these üprofessional soaps also differ in quality and slip. Many of these professional soaps tend to leave the glass cleaner longer tho compared to dish soap.

I don't think the issue is with the squeegee buddy its the rubber if you have a different grade or brand of rubber you will find it performs differently in different circumstances. I have soft Pulex... Moerman and unger and they all perform different and I've tested them with the same mop and on the same window after it was cleaned.... Very Scientific test lol.

I only use the unger gel for cleaning indoor windows because it drips less. But in my opinion the applicator dry's out to quick. I clean a lot of modern houses with big windows , so I need to make my applicator wet again for many times. Is this normal or am I doing something wrong ?

To be honest I've not noticed that issue but for me the glide just wasn't quite as good as premium dish soaps

I like the Unger Gel. The only thing is that the soap doesn't look as great on the glass as Moerman's Squeeze Deluxe.
