🇷🇺 Unglued Brit Explores 🇬🇧 - TSARITSYNO PARK, a Park fit for a Queen! (Just not Catherine II)

Tsaritsyno is a palace museum and park reserve in the south of Moscow. It was founded in 1775 as the summer residence of Empress Catherine II, but the construction remained incomplete. For most of its history, it was a half-abandoned park with picturesque ruins.

Imo Tsaritsyno is a hidden gem of a park, not really well known among muscovites. I was baptized there and practically grew up in it. The ruins had their charm back in the days, but how happy I was when the park got all the well deserved attention and care. I strongly recommend you visiting Meschersky park while it's still warm and sunny. It doesn't have any palaces or anything like that though, just nature and chill atmosphere.

Ну какахи в те годы, откровенно говоря, были везде. Даже у меня в подъезде, детство было поистине счастливым. А так да. Помню как там сделали детскую площадку новую напротив Орехово, где склон был большой. Через неделю пришёл, а там ни новых лавочек, ни подшипников на карусели. Но это было-то в нулевых.

I live in a provincial Russian town in the Volga region. The park, which is 1 km away from me, was completely renovated this year. Paths, benches, stairs, lighting, refreshments. The number of people going there has increased dramatically. It's not as big as Tsaritsyno, but it's nice to have such a place nearby.

Yes, it happened to our park this year too in Mytischi in Moscow Oblast, before it was just "Okay" but now it's out of this world, the paving, the things for kids to do, small restaurants and stands, so many things to do now. I somewhat envy my daughter in a way because when she grows up she will be playing in that park and won't even realise how good it is. I made a video on that park earlier on in my channel it's really cool.

Thank you very much, I think that there is a lot of truth in that statement, knowledge is neutral, like a tool, we can use it for both good and bad, we must be careful with such tools too, usually I have found that the further I go down a rabbit hole the more likely I am to find an exit and exit with a broader understanding of things, it's not good to stay there though, we must emerge.

@@UngluedBrit Yes. Of course, going down the rabbit hole can be uncomfortable and even disgusting at times, but eventually everything falls into place and is no longer uncomfortable. And In the end, the only question that remains is "whether it was worth the time and effort?". Sometimes I told myself no. But later it turned out that it was worth it.

It certainly is, I remember walking around Moscow with my wife for the first time seriously paying attention to the intricacies of the old buildings and architecture, the grand designs and layouts of them and my wife didn't even blink, she said "She's used to it", I think that it's easy to not be so impressed when you walk past it every day, I am just glad to draw attention to how amazing it is.

Сейчас их очень много стремится попасть в Россию из Европы, так как там сворачивается денежная поддержка украинцев, а у нас выдается очень много пособий, в том числе на поддержку детей, так же материнский капитал.
