@@allyb3510 yes, I watched the whole program and she herself said that when they go out and he asks for her opinion on anything that she gets freezes and gets anxious in case she says the "wrong" thing - no opinion can be wrong, everyone has their own likes and dislikes, there is no right thing to like or dislike. I hope that her family watch this program and then sit her down and have a very serious talk with her because I don't think that they know how much he controls her and is bad for her mental health.

I think the designer is Augusta Jones, who does lots of dresses which are quite simple in terms of embellishment but which focus on clean lines and tailoring but the intention is that each dress can be easily customised so brides can buy a dress which is within budget and easily alter the dress to include crystals or lace or different button designs. I think this dress design is 'Marina' or 'Tia'.

I saw the episode Shauna and the groom is the one who is a chav, but he's a working chav and they didn't show his parents. It seems to me that he is so paranoid about his roots and that he is projecting his insecurities onto her, because she is more educated than him.

I see what she means about the arm straps. That has me feeling like my arms are in a strait jacket without me even wearing it. I'm curious how a man would feel with a tight non stretch band across the tops of their arms essentially restricting them from lifting the arms above the elbow. As far as sparkle, the Queen's coronation dress was covered in embroidery and beads, maybe that was "chavvy" too? I don't understand though, if he knows her, why he would deliberately try and make her wear something he knows she will hate? I'd say the same the other way round too, if a bride were forcing a groom into an outfit he hated.
