I love how you talked about tastes changing. It's always kind of surprising and sad when I realize I've moved on from a genre but also exciting to welcome in new to me genres or authors. I haven't yet read The Reappearance of Rachel Price but I want to!

thank you! i totally get what you mean. there are just so many other books i want to read; i don't want to force myself to read things i've had sitting on my shelf for forever, but it's hard to be okay with that decision haha! i would really recommend it! great quick, lighter thriller

I feel similarly about chick lit/family drama. It gives me the feeling of going out to eat and getting irritated by the overly loud lady two tables over talking about all her personal problems to the entire restaurant. Which is oddly specific, I know. 🤣 That said, I’m glad books like that exist because they do get more people reading!
