Girl. Cozy mystery, you need to try Dixie Lyle and her WTF series. I've never read something so creative and entertaining! Short description, it follows the assistant to an eccentric millionaire who lives in a mansion and throws dinner parties with celebrity guests. The property also houses the largest pet cemetery in the country. Our protagonist helps solve mysteries on the property with her ghost cat and shape-shifting dog that speak to her telepathically.

I thought Killers of a Certain Age was really fun! It was a quick read, and I passed it onto a friend who enjoyed it. It’s giving baddie Helen Mirren/Judi Dench on a retirement (from being assassins) cruise but throw in a revenge plot, a murder plot?? and a maybe not so retirement ending?? 🧐 😁

I read Victories Greater Than Death b/c you showed it in one of your videos, and I honestly became obsessed with the whole series last summer! It's a space opera where a group of strangers have to join forces and save the universe together, all while becoming a family along the way, and it perfectly scratched my sci-fi itch. Lots of queer rep and the main character is in a sapphic relationship! Really enjoyed it, although I will say the first book is probably the weakest in the trilogy imho. If you like it, you should consider the author's other book, The City in the Middle of the Night. :)

I completely support keeping many fantasy series you have yet to start, that is how I also live my life surrounded by unread fantasy series! Also I haven’t read red sister or whatever but prince of thorns by mark Lawrence was - for me - one of the worst books I ever read. It’s written from the POV of thee most edgelord twelve year old, I couldn’t take a single moment of it seriously. But some people nut over that series so idk!! Just my two cents

Nooo, not Such a Pretty Smile! Especially if you enjoy fantasy..it’s not fantasy or supernatural or magical realism, but it also is all of them, like I don’t know how to explain it, it is just not a typical thriller/mystery at all. I’d say with how beautiful the book reads and the symbolism of the story it’s more horror. That author did not get the praise she so deserved for that book!
@isabelguillenperalta15104 ай бұрын
SJM spoke about going to Israel and her grandmother being in the military.. I couldn't find more but for me it was sketchy enough and while she is not her grandmother, she didn't take position since. I mean if you don't take position, you said it in a silence way and it means the genocide of the palestianians isn't worth your time. So for me she is a zionist... Like any other celebrity, author etc that didn't speak up.
