I used to work at a certain supermarket chain here in London when I was 18, and they had me in the shelf stacking role. This meant I was in the stock room a lot and I would most definitely steal from them all the time. Sometimes I would even pocket stuff when I was in the actual aisles on the shop floor. Never got clocked. My favourtie thing to do was to steal a bottle of wine from the back after work on a Friday.

WHEN ME AND MY BEST FRIEND worked as home health aides in a group home doing overnight shifts, we used to wait til the old people went to bed and we would smoke blunts on the porch then race their power chairs around the kitchen 😂😂 I'm pretty sure we did ❄️ off their kitchen counter too 😅 we were young and dumb. We both actually did end up getting fired eventually but it was because we got caught sleeping lol

Later they kept doing illegal stuff so I just started showing up high and taking a shot of rum before work. They overworked me so I already looked SUPER tired and sad all the time they never questioned my red eyes 😂

When I worked at the Drybar that was in the UBER RICH part of town-side note I did get to do Tati westbrooks hair there once-the job was so awful and the people were so horrible (the only time I got called the help to my face) we would all take turns who would bring a water bottle of liquor to work to store in the work freezer LOL we'd take shots between clients and on lunch I kept white claws in my trunk... when we got off work we were right next to a hotel bar and the hotel bartenders also hated it there and would give us free drinks for our pain and suffering for working with these horrid people.

Okay so it’s not as funny now cause I really did lose my mind in my early 20s. But I dropped a tab of acid before work one night, I was working restaurant i was a hostess I felt like I was in an old wooden boat, I felt like I was SOPPING wet all night. could not figure out how to stack plates, the laws of physics did not work 😂 and my coworkers looked like animals, and one lady looked like an octopus, literally seeing peoples spirit animals. And the manager that was a wolf, told me to have a good night when I asked to be cut first, and he gave me a lil look and I clocked out, and I literally, physically, ran home. I literally ran. And I mean I was there for like 4 more management teams. The whole chain is gone now.

I briefly worked at a Panera Bread where our millennial GM let us take gardening breaks! We had a little hidden back porch thing where we would go to smoke. It was a damn mess. People were getting absolutely ass blasted and I was one of them. I was going through some serious personal stuff at the time though. I often think about that GM though because he was the first boss that ever actually seemed like they cared. I hope he’s doing ok.
