I agree with you guys! I love them. They make good music, people that 'copy' LZ play covers in your neighbourhood pub. GVF do their own thing, yes they have influences and yes his voice is similar to Plant's and how lucky is he!! Millions of people would love to... being a fan of many great bands of the 60's and 70's it brings a smile to my face to hear young guys bring back the classic rock formation that once conquered the world. If they are a rip off of Led Zeppelin then every band that was a rock band is guilty of stealing from the black man's blues, end of the discussion. I'm a huge fan of Zeppelin and Kizka does not really sound like the deeper, throatier Plant. The more you listen. Totally different animals and technique. I can't help but think like a singer and the whole placement of Kizka's voice is quite different. The songwriting is certainly their own. Frank DiMino of the 70's band Angel has a more similar sound to Kizka then Plant. It's a new band with a nod to classic rock. There's been too many bands that sound more similar to Zep to pigeon hole them as imitators. The songs on the albums by GVF are much popper than Zep etc etc. They are their own thing.

i love them. the hatred towards them is insane. some people are just annoying af and like complaining too much. also boomers need to realize how exciting it is for the younger generation to have a band like this whose members are OUR AGE! if anything, gvf are helping teens pick up a guitar and discover other amazing artists they've been influenced by. looking forward to another video! would love if u guys reviewed "brave new world"❤️

A great young band. They certainly have Zeppelin influences, but their own sound with blues and 70s sounds. Their latest album produces their own sound which is evolving. They have certainly improved as musicians since this video

Love this band. Saw them live twice. Incredible young musicians with amazing talents. To me they do their own thing. You can hear shades of Rush and Black Crowes and AC/DC as well but that’s a good thing! Quit bitching and trying to compare. Does their music make your foot tap and make your head move and put a smile on your face? Then enjoy it!

Gifted with a voice that sounds similar to Plant but he also sounds like Triumphs Rick Emmet and many other artists. These kids are incredibly gifted in their music. I have seen many interviews with them and you would never guess in a million years who some of their favorite musicians or bands are. For 20 something-year-olds they are very versed in 50's 60's and 70's music. I can see why people compare them to LZ but who gives a shit. No bands that I know of play, sing, and sound like the older rock that I love and miss. Screw all this other crap on the radio today. Its all garbage. People can hate all they want this band is killing it all over the world. Must be doing something right.

Fantastic stuff. Huge grin when I heard this song first time thinking of how badass they were and sounded like the rock I grew up on listening to radio with my dad. The guitar riff after the chorus line - When the curtain fall....(guitar) sounds like Stevie Ray Vaughn too. So there's a lot of influences there - which most great bands have had influence from others all along.

Led Zeppelin is probably my favorite rock band of all time and I agree with your assessment. This band is keeping R&R alive... along with the Band Maid and other Japanese groups. I am 59 and I love them. I think they are doing their on thing. Every artist pulls from someone before them….. some one that inspired them. I just watched an interview with them and they said they pull from quite a few ppl. Jim Croce was one of them ….the growling in his voice. Thanks for th review. As a teenager in the 70’s . I get what woody is saying about plant being sloppy but many guitarists think now that it wasn't sloppy it was just his style, he had many different nuances in his playing that gave it much more character than people think

They do not copy LZ. Josh was influenced by female vocalists, e.g., Aretha Franklin. Danny drummer (has perfect pitch)

I love the band, and the fact that they sound like LZ was the hook that brought me in. I like them more than LZ now, because I can hear other parts of their originality leaking through. Hope they make many albums so we have cool music to listen to in the future.

Is not too hard replicate LZ identity and make a tribute band. But GVF replicated the LZ identity and they decided to go a higher level, because they could make their own songs with that identity and thats pure talent. Because LZ is something unreachable for the most part of musicians in the world, and GVF could reach it and go further.

I'm now looking at your reaction 3 years after you aired it. I presuming you have now heard the album The Battle At Gardens Gate ? Hope so, you need to. Time to let it go re Led Zeppelin , whom I love and free up on. They are the GOAT but it's 50 years now cone on. LZ fans moan that rock is dead because there is no sounds like those they loved, then when they hear it they hate !GVF obvious influenced by LZ but also by the same old blues guys that LZ were themselves influenced by. Their parents rearing created this band and they are a breath of fresh air. Would be interested to know your opinions now?

IMO, It does the band a great disservice to frame their music that way, whether you agree with it or not. Presumably there will be people hearing their music for the first time on your channel, and you are coloring their experience with the haters opinion. I'll be glad to check out future reactions to Greta Van Fleet on your channel and if I don't hear that phrase, I will like and probably subscribe.

You gotta jump through I don't know how many mental hoops to not hear the Zep cloning procedure down to the molecular level lol. Don't get me wrong -- they are good musicians, and any decent band playing guitar rock nowadays is more than welcome to strut their stuff, as the genre is on life support here in the West. But while their songs seem to meet all my personal criteria to be cranked up on my stereo, I just can't bring myself to do it. You can clone the body, but apparently not the soul along with it. They don't instill that visceral, adrenaline pumping feeling that the bands I've listened to through the years would give me. They still have plenty of time to grow as musicians and songwriters however, so I'm hopeful that they will find THEIR sound, and in doing so, become a band that that will inspire not only old farts like me, but more importantly, the next generation of rockers to step up and play the game.
