That bass player is only 10 YEARS OLD??? NO WAY!!! I think someone transplanted his brain from a 70s bass hero into his skull...that was TIGHT! All of them! The sax player's tone! The guitar player's solo (and his comping with a wah pedal), the drummer's groove, the keyboard player's solo....man, it doesn't get any better than this! Thank you so much for posting this, it's my favorite genre of music, too...

Hi Ed, indeed they are a good young musicians.... simply amazing. But you'd better know more about man who brought these kids until that level: ERWIN GUTAWA. Former bass player of a jazz group and initially was an architect. For me Erwin was like Joan Chamorro from Spain......Erwin was also coducting a pop orchestra for local divas live show here in Indonesia (before covid). Incredible bass ....holing it all together ....but everyone has impeccable timing .... I used to dance to good jazz like this 60 yrs ago to a soul jazz band in New Zealand... and would take the music in and let go without a scrap of thought .....you need a band that functions as one to do that
