Thomas, I suspected that the new Unicat design would be a combination of the best contemporary engineering available for a 7.5 ton expedition vehicle designed to meet the European and North American requirements. It’s more than I imagined! It’s magnificent!

The concept is great. Very pleasant and with shower and toilet and still an outdoor camper! An additional Ostrich Wing Awning would make the whole thing even more attractive! Great concept, really! 👍

This is exciting news to see a new product offering for the North American market. A Dodge wouldn't be my first pick but as you mentioned a Ford F550, GMC and presumably a Freightliner M2 106 (my pick) with the Cummins will also be available. Good luck with this product line.

It looks very good on paper Thomas, It will be great to see the finished product. Unfortunately, it will be priced way above my meagre pension. Nevertheless. How about importing a few of the Australian RHD models for people who don't want LHD?

Hi Thomas, A refreshing development. I especially like the hinged roof section to provide Cabover bed height. Would question the inclusion of front facing windows in the bed area

Ill be interested to see this when its done and see what it is like compared to the earthroamer. Also, with the Cummins diesel emissions scandal that just happened, wonder if it will affect their Euro6 rating

as someone who had a Ram 2500 with Cummins the takeaway for me is that you can now buy a Unicat in North America on a Ford chassis

Can you make the same thing on FTR Isuzu truck because it has Cummins engine and Allison transmission you can make a nice expedition vehicle with a FTR or FVR I’m just giving you more ideas, but I really do love that Isuzu trucks

With the Starlink mounted to the hood of the vehicle are you not creating a problem with the chance of overheating or any further failure, would you not rather have it mounted at the rear of the camper on its own support system by the spare wheel??

If you put a Starlink antenna on the hood of the truck, do you have some good way to make sure it does not get stolen? With a diesel engine, the more important power measurement is the Torque (not the horsepower rating mentioned in the video)

Gratulation 👍 Natürlich wird keiner mit dem Dodge nach Afrika fahren, aber für den europäischen Markt wäre ein kleiner Hinweis zur Service-Situation nicht schlecht. Da wäre der G besser, der kostet aber als Basis sicher auch ne Mark mehr. Und eine Frage: Fahrräder wo? Vor dem Kühler (wie in den USA) ist sicher verboten, und hinten durch den (genialen) Eingang?

I would like to see the Same chassis length but with a single cab and recover all that space for the living area. Lets be honest a box this size is for 2 people Max there is no reason to have a truck cab that holds 4 to 5 people. Single Cab truck is needed for this box.
