Unicorn in the snow

This is Isabelle, a personally owned costume created by me and performed by my sister. My sister has come a long way since the tragic incident in July, and despite complications leading to a bone graft operation in December she now, in February, is back on her feet. In this video my sister put her quadsuiting ability to the first real test in eight months, her stamina is nothing what it used to be and certain aspects of performing are now difficult (hopefully not permanently) but for the most part she is back.

That little trot at the beginning or the little buck-kick in the middle of the video may not seem like much, but it takes a lot to do more than just stand around and walk slowly in one of these, trust me I've tried, my sister makes this look easy, I make the thing look ready for the glue pot lol.

I'm so relieved hearing this. I had a fear that quad suiting, or any type of suiting, would be difficult for your sister after she broke her leg, as these sort of wounds can cause complications. I rather like Fursuits in general but personally I've never really been all that fond of Quad Suits,, a lot of them look really unevenly balanced, clunky and well, despite the great work on them they don't really look.. Well right. How ever I must confess I think this suit is simply amazing. The body proportions are far better then anything I've seen before, the detailing is beautiful and your sister did a wonderful job at portraying a believable character in the suit. Isabelle is very beautiful, wonderful job on the suit. I'm really happy I've finally found a Quad Suit I actually like because over all the idea behind them is fantastic. I'll have to look through more of your videos now. :D

I live "in the city of rain", but no problems with suiting xD but I would basicly say never go suiting completely alone, it's dangerous since you can't see edges and it's nice to have a person explaining the rules to kids too so they don't ruin your suit. Umbrellas sometimes go really well with suits too :D (I have red eyes and a read umbrella :P)

I'm curious, how do you get the forelegs of the suit to articulate (bend at the bracelet/armor) like that? I'm working on my own suit currently and would love to add that to mine for a little more realism in movement.

SecretSwifty This is a song from Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword, It might be the music that plays when Link dives and lands on different islands other than Skyloft or Faron, Lanaryu, Eldin or the isle of songs etc. I don't know the name but it may appear if you look up Island music on skyward sword?

What happened to her? I would imagine normally breaking a limb wouldn't cause issues once it had healed (I broke my arm and it's fine now that it's healed) did something happen specifically, like a break in a specific spot, or am I missing something or what? I'm very glad she's okay though!

He was the man who wrote The Last Unicorn. And generally unicorns have lion tails. (though scripts from 77AD called them boar tails) In fact records before early 14th century depicted them with manes and beards. You can look at pieces like 'The unicorn is penned' and 'maiden with a unicorn' for medieval versions and can read passages from the Indika by Ctesias for an even older account of them from india. Who called them a kind of wild ass or Onager.

It was more than just a broken leg. My sister was involved in a deadly hit and run while in the crosswalk July 2012, she suffered a compound fracture (bone was sticking out) of her right leg resulting in the loss of bone which left a gap that refused to heal, my sister had to undergo a (horribly painful) bone graft operation December 2012. In addition to the broken bone, damage was done to the muscle tissue of the leg as well as her ankle (her leg will never a hundred percent normal)
