I managed to get 4 of these for under $40 a couple of years ago...I lost 23 radios in a flood and the only radios I had left was one grantxl in my truck and a trc-453 in my combine. Both are great radios. The grantxl has one of the best board builds of any radio of any year. You have 12 screws just to take the covers off.

I always wanted to get one during the 80's but I couldn't find one locally so I opted to get a President Lincoln instead and I was happy I got the Lincoln instead.
