I like how it’s loud. I had an escort max 360 and got a ticket bs I had my music up and couldn’t hear it till it was at 4 bars.

If you have a city with Toll roads and they have those huge signs with pre pass, the signs will set off the Ka band and that’s when you need to see the frequencies. Salt Lake City and El Paso, Dallas, Houston, San Antonio

Thanks for the demonstration. I just returned my Escort Redline 360c for a Uniden R8. I’ve had Bell, Escort/Passport, Valentine One, and Uniden R3 (still have it) over (many) years and the Uniden works great. I did miss the arrows switching from Valentine one (gen 1) to Uniden R3 at first, but got used to it. It will be fun to have the arrows back again.

34.667 from the HP seems it was weak as heck, oh wait, looks like the HP was beaming to the rear so you got him strong on the back antenna after you went by him. Nice

I run all K and Ka band now since I drive a lot trough different places and I've encounter K band in smaller towns. Have only X band off,

K band is city cops and sheriffs. Arizona runs x band, k band and ka band, laser.. I gave up in Arizona because they switching it up.

huh? R7 does multiple bands with the box on the left. Will do up to 4 alerts from multiple different bands. Not saying it's better just pointing out it does do that too

@@sclancy79 yeah, I know with the R7 you have to have the ALL THREAT setting enabled to see the extra bands in the left box. Once enabled works like a champ

Yes, is better with remembering false alert locations as well.

@@victour4837 Wondering does it tells if the cops are on the left or right? Or it just show a both arrow at the same time?

@@EndlessXConcertgoers88 it can only show if it’s coming from the sides, not left or right. This is because the side arrows light up when the signal from the front and rear antenna are the same but there’s no actual antennas on the sides to find the direction left or right
