Depending on what it was (for example, a fabric balloon with no metal gondola), it might have a very low radar cross section. Perhaps it traversed an area in Canada where radar has intermittent coverage. Perhaps it was launched from the Great Lakes area. Perhaps it was designed to be a "stealth" object. If it's at low altitude (so-called "air breathing"), fairly low speed (not supersonic or faster), unmanned (no pilot onboard), and not emitting "signals," it is probably not a threat. Not 100 percent certainty, but most likely. Just because someone/something is unknown, that doesn't mean it's a threat.

Yes definitely. They know exactly what it was. My friends brother works for Area 51 and Air force. Here very recently he couldn't and WOULD not talk about his work. He brought home some files from Area 51 and she peaked in them. She called me and was scared to death about the things she had read. She told me something that she saw and had pictures of something and it looked like an alien space craft. Also had a picture of something hideous laying on a gurney strappeddown. It didn't look like the aliens we have been told about. That 1 was very strange looking. I'm actually scared for her because if they found out that she saw them....her life would really be in danger.

I was stationed onboard CV-67 the old USS John F Kennedy in 1990 and I can tell you without a doubt the entire flight deck crew saw a massive object that appeared out of nowhere and stayed there for a good minute before re-opening space and disappearing from where it came. @@TXchadTX I have similar experience. It was last week on Tuesday. I was on the terrace of the hotel I work (4th floor) in Amsterdam, having a cigarette break. Then suddenly I heard such loud noise, almost like a rocket. Really loud. Then I tried to spot where it comes from, was coming behind the hotel up in the air. Was quite close. I could see from the side that was round and made of silver greyish metal. Had 2 orange light. I was not sure what was that but also not very crazy about that, because was too noisy for something like ufo. Then I left to do some work but after about 15 min, just for fun I went back there to see maybe more. And it happened! I was shocked. Heard the same noise but coming from other side of hotel ( imI remember saying myself now I will take a proper nice look at you)This time was a bit higher than before and I couldn't believe my eyes, had a round disc shape, now I could see it from the bottom, was flying above me. Had 2 orange lights. One was on the side moving left to right and back and other one was flashing on the "kind of tail" Was quite slow all the time and extremely loud. Don't know what was that but was strange and kind of funny at the same time. Looked like ufo from 70s or something.....

The strangest thing about all of this... is the fact that we need fighter jets with missiles to take out harmless balloons. Why isn't there an easier way to capture these balloons without exploding them to bits out of the sky? Look, I understand that there could be all sorts of WILD possibilities that can range between a weather satellite or a nuclear dirty bomb, but lets stay reasonable okay folks? These things are slow moving balloons in the air... they aren't jetting around shooting missiles alright...
