Struggling, a young man living on the streets of Chicago--alone. Freezing cold, no winter coat, virtually homeless and hungry but determined to become a writer one day. I went from sleeping on sidewalks and in bus and train stations, to writing speeches for the city's first black mayor in one year, then on to EBONY/Jet and many other national magazines and newspapers. This song is what got me through many long, frigid nights. Thank you so much, sir. "Sky is the limit..."

Mike Lloyd My sentiments exactly. As kids these were just sounds we used to dance to in the Clubs but when you listen back to the Funk of the 70's and 80's you realise that it was laden with instruction's on how to think and progress in life, something bands like Earth Wind and Fire did brilliantly. These messages are sadly missing in what we term as music is this modern age, the younger generation have been badly served in this new deliberately dumbed down century.

I could not put that song in words in a better way, you expressed my feelings in a manner i cant express, thank you.I have trouble putting feelings into words, wich is a curse since i "suffer" from empathy, yes empathy is a curse these days, since faking it and virtue signal is better than having real empathy, but i must keep on with my beliefs and moral. This help me, and it did since years , so yes it can lift you even in the toughest of times. Amazing track indeed.

I was moved by reading so many of the comments. Ronald Childs is an earth-shaker of an inspirational JOURNEY..wow!!!! Thank God. Helen Reyes wrote, :Back when artists actually told a story and cared about sharing an inspirational message to everyone. So true. Mr D Train, I pray the artist of today follow your on music that builds. Every line of the Lyrics is lifting and feeding my soul. "Search deep inside, and you will see." And then bridge is spanking with grooves and echos. "Sky is the limit" I can relate to so many comments that say this song brings tears and emotions. Thanks Mr D Train..... Lagos Oct 2021

Another CLASSIC NYC production, and original foundation for house music...after hours at the Paradise Garage, then early afternoon a short walk from there to nearby Washington Square in Greenwich Village for Sunday afternoon parties under a cloud of ganja and unreal surround sound from by multiple boxes tuned to the same WBLS, KISS FM & KTU supermixes. Outdoor skating in Central Park to the boxes (to this day search using "central park skaters after party" on the tube) HOO!
