Yep, I still see them that way. Or I present a Flex/Mesh (Cola can) model, or will say that they need to go on the ceiling (maybe even sell them new ones, right at that point, anyways).

I pitched the idea for software like this to a company I worked for; they didn't think anyone wanted it. However, a cross-vendor solution with all the features and equipment easy to lay out, like Visio, and providing coverage maps still makes sense.

I can get the auto cabling to work. It always fails to finish and acts like im missing something maybe in the rack to calculate that.

Should all be saved under your single sign on. Make sure in the top right hand corner you dont have the wizard selected

Why would you use a UDM-SE as opposed to a UDM-Pro ? This seems like a large enough installation with enough capacity for a dedicated PoE switch. Also if shadow mode does become available, then what use would there be for PoE devices plugged into one of the UDM-SEs' ? If the UDM is down I guess the Poe devices go down with it 🤷🏻‍♂️

A nice feature would be the ability to develop a floorplan using the Wi-Fi man app. Not all of my clients have a floor plan of their office space.

We get that alot. I usually ask if they have a printed fire plan mounted on a wall somewhere. It's a legal requirement in the UK. I use office lens to take a picture of it and import into design centre. Trying to find digital floor plans is usually fruitless.
