UPDATE: I had switched to the Tank Mini 1 and LOVED it, but I was missing some calls from family. Might just be my specific phone, but since a phone that has call issues is pointless, I've recently decided to stop cheaping out and just go back to a Samsung Flip. I'm happy to say that using smaller phones for several months has helped me keep my habit of not spending useless time on my phone. And it has the cover screen, so it's been great so far. I still use a brick to count calories, though.

that rubber cover for usb cable plug it will be the first to go soon. I had a blackview phone build the same way.

I wanted to compare the sizes of the Jelly Star with its case and the Tank Mini, so your video was really helpful! I have a question: I use the Atom as a GPS logger, but have you experienced any issues with the GPS on the Jelly Star or Tank Mini?
@TheFoxyKevinTАй бұрын
Obviously, the GPS sensors on these phones aren't as precise as a Samsung phone, but I haven't experienced any issues with them.

What it like upgrading from star I have stat at the moment never pulled the plug on tank mini but now they've announced jelly max with a 4-5 inch screen somewhere in that range with bigger battery I might wait for that now

It's been pretty good so far. Absolutely cannot complain about the battery. Can't think of any real issues aside from it being a bit ugly-looking.
@dipplodocus5 ай бұрын
@@TheFoxyKevinT Yeah it's ugly compared to the star and is the weight difference quite noticeable that was my main concern and I don't really need the camping light or laser pointer main pro is that battery with the smaller screen with more that comes out with jelly max I think I prob won't get the tank mini and maybe pull the plug on jelly max still daily driving my jelly star typed this on it 😂

Jelly Max disappointed me. I was looking for a small phone because even my current Xiaomi redmi Note 5 seems big and heavy. I heard the announcement of Jelly Max but after looking at it I realized that it will be 5.1 inches, just a little smaller than the current one. It weighs the same. And it's a lot thicker. That's why I chose the Jelly Star, even though it's a little small. If they'd come out with a phone that's 4-4.5 inches, max. I'd be happy. I'm sorry, I'm using a translator.

I've had my Jelly 2 for over two years now. Sure, the keyboard is small, as it should be on a phone this size, but I use predictive text and voice to text. I very rarely have an issue with the keyboard. Just saying.

Works beautifully for that. For typing uncommon words, though, it's doable, but a hassle.

Hello, friend! Can you tell me why this smartphone doesn't update the operating system?
@TheFoxyKevinT6 ай бұрын
That's a question for Unihertz. It seems like they would rather just put out a new phone than update their old ones. Doesn't bother me too much, though.

How long does the Jelly star battery last if i ise it 2 hours daily?

Should last about 2 days, but you'll probably have to charge it that 2nd night.
