Hey Guys!
Here is part 5 of the Unimog 421 Build.
I wanted the mog to be able to use different tools and attachements, so we outfittet it with a front-lift!
And also fixed up that front PTO in the process.
If you want to follow this build from the start, Here is a link to the First video:
• Unimog Barn-Find. part...
I have also made a playlist, for the whole build. you can find that here:
• Unimog Barn-Find. part...

I usually do. and i have washed most of it. But the front-facing side of the gearbox, that is shown here, is all tucked up underneath the cabin, it was hard just finding a way to get a camera up under there, to film it. and it's near impossible to get in there to wash it. atleast, without laying dierectly under there, while doing it. But at some point i will be removing the cabin for repairs, and then i will be able to clean everything underneathe aswell. Thanks for watching!

Dose the PTO automatically set a RPM/speed governor of that model Unimog? I like the Unimog, especially when they are use as emergencies vehicles. The closest I will ever come to ownings a Unimog is the small scale plastic mode I built a few years ago.
@KJOff-Road
@KJOff-Road 2 жыл бұрын
No. This is a very basic design, where the PTO is just a direct output from the gearbox. and you manually set the Rpm. with the "Hand throttle" in the cab. Thanks for watching!

I really like Spur vids of this little Unimog. Your front lift build looks really good. Only thing I would change is the big square tube in between the two lifting arms. I would replace it with something smaller. But it's just personal preference. :)

Thank you very much. I don't have any extreme welding gear, just a 200A Esab, with 1mm wire. So for some of the really thick parts, i made angled cuts, to start the weld deeper down, and then did an extra pass on top. Thanks for watching!
