Cleaning The Collection - Part 1 - Vintage Pan Paperbacks - Part 1 - The Journey Begins!
In this video I start the process of systematically working my way through my vintage paperback and book collection and giving each and every item a through inspection and clean, if required.
This first part see me tackle the start of my extensive vintage Pan Books paperback collection. About 80 books in total in this video, in published order.
I use various techniques which I hope you'll enjoy watching and listening to.

I hope so my friend! I have the next 6 or so parts all filmed, but I'll keep going until a year has passed. We'll know then if it's got legs, although I'll still have thousands of books to clean! Figure I might as well film the process.

Entertaining video. Interesting to watch how another collector approaches caring for their books. I use a soft eraser or cotton bud to remove sticker glue residue to reduce the risk of scratching the surface with a finger nail.

Thanks Simon, I was sure that sticker was going to come off really easily, Darn it! I'll find another period one and stick it on instead, for authenticity.

Maybe you could use a sheet of black construction paper when cleaning the dust off to better illustrate how much actual dust gets removed. That would be satisfying.

Unintentional is a misnomer. It should just be called ASMR, which is intentional and is the worst kind. You simply have a naturally relaxing voice. No need to advertise it with buzz words, that's simply selling out. You also can't really say which sounds are relaxing as everyone is different. Your voice could be relaxing to one and intolerable to the next. Just do what you do best. Enjoy your books. Easy peasy!
