Aha! This is only half of the bowl making video but with making the spatula tacked on in front! It gets coated in a paste and I assume the fabric is to pad/protect/reinforce high wear areas. Then it's sanded smooth. In another video they're finished and eventually get a shiny red coating at the end.

He doesn't make these. He finds them and uploads them. Also needs permission from the orginal poster. It takes time to upload vids to this channel. But he does upload atleast once a week or so.

Someone else said he is reinforcing the high wear areas. I thought it was a big waste myself. I love a solid wood look. Woukd rather have it weather and wear than have cloth. But that's just my personal opinion.

Why was there coarse mesh on fhe bottom and edge of the bowl? That goes against all common sense when making something to hold LIQUID. Not to mention its pointlessly difficult to clean. Give me the plain wooden bowl thank you.
