These guys really were fantastic. I always thought it was such a shame that they didn’t have better success. This was a great video, thanks for sharing!!

I meet Crabby and Bruce numerous times around this time. Cabby, and Bruce are 2 of the nicest people you could ever meet, down to earth and zero ego. The band I was in at the time was covering "Love (I Don't Need It Anymore) and we told John about it. John immediately grabbed me and the bassist by the arms and ran us over to Bruce and told him what we'd just said about coving "Love"...Both thought it was the coolest thing , and gave me his contact info and wanted us to send a video of us doing the song. Unfortunately, the band imploded not long afterwards... I meet John few more times as years went by, and surprisingly he remembered me, and asked me "Are you following me, LOL"...I would love to see the band reform, and do more. Todays landscape is a little more welcome to that they done then, and I'm hoping these reissues light a fire in the masses and resurrect this highly underrated band....

Union was a real head scratcher, and to me, they exemplified that you can have everything going for you: the look, the musical talent, the song writing skills, etc but sometimes it's just the business & promotion side of rock n roll that's ultimately gonna be your downfall. All three albums are loaded with amazing & very clever stuff, but despite that, they could hardly get any Rock Radio air play, even though at that time they were getting a big push with feature stories & reviews in Metal Edge Magazine. Union is one of those unknown bands that you can whip out & play a CD & totally amaze your friends with how dog gone good they were. 👍

Great band, great albums. I like the first one better, but, the Blue Room is solid. Saw them on tour at the Birch Hill Nightclub in NJ. It was a great show. 🤘🏻💀🤘🏻

I think Stanley and Simmons own 'Unjon' the opinion to open up as a support for the two MSG Goodbye Shows in December ...🎉

Great idea showing us the backstory of Union. For some reason I forgot about them as good as they were and thought Bruce went straight to Grand Funk.

Have nothing against people who like Union, if that's what you like. That's what you like. But the producers of the hair metal box set that has around again on it by Union had no business being on the hair metal box set compilation.

A good band but the music climate wasn't right for them to be a big name.

Well basically nobody had respect for them coming out of 70s and '80s. Heavy metal. Hard rock and glam metal to put out something that was not who they really were. It seemed like they were just trying to fit in and they were never accepted from the grunge crowd. I'm from the 80s and '70s. I love hair, metal, heavy metal, hard rock but that box set that came out called hair metal the song around again by Union. Should have never even been on that hair metal box set. When you come from the '70s and '80s, you will lose those fans if you try to change to grunge or alternative. And the grunge alternative fans think you're just trying to change to make money so they don't respect you. So it's a lose lose situation.

@@STAND-ALONE lots of bands tried to stay relevant when the grunge era began. Poison, motely crue, Kiss, etc. You do have to update the style once in awhile to be with the times. But I'd say this is the equivalent of Mc Hammer trying to do gangsta rap 😆. I think it's a two fold problem because of Nu Metal and Hip hop being in style. They were more a niche band and people wanted a fresh sound. Even Nu Metal died out as well as southern hip hop. There is a backlash to anything popular eventually and its a double edged sword. You are popular and on top of the world one day and the next day you are just trying to be relevant. Lots of fair weather fans in music and trendy fucks
