Rotary mixers are cool, and the MasterSounds Radius is the one I would pick if I was getting one. HPFs are the best! That would've been cool if they cleaned up the right side of the mixer and either made it more compact or fit in a Beat FX-type section. But just cramming in a weird-ass binary FX section WITHOUT relocating any of the existing knobs - except for pushing the isolator over to the right? Well... That's ridiculous. I don't know anything about why Andy Rigby-Jones left Allen & Heath or why he also stopped working with MasterSounds. But it's starting to look like he might be an insane diva. How can the guy who made the Xone 92 and worked on the Model 1 with Richie Hawtin be the same guy who said, "Hey guys let's take the sexy MasterSounds design and drill a few holes in it and install some digital FX!" Yeah, that's a great idea.

Yeah it's def not built for everyone. Thanks for your input here though ! :-)

the ISOLATOR IS THERE EXACTLY TO CUT THE LOWS WHEN YOU INSERT THE FX 😅, GUYS RESPECTFULLY EDUCATE A BIT ON ROTARY MIXING BECAUSE ALL THIS CONVERSATION IS A BIT IMPROVISED AMATORIAL FULL OF MISCONCEPTIONS. MIXING WITH ROTARY IS AN ART FORM OF ITS OWN IS DIFFERENT

All caps hitting different
@Bigger-Circuitry-Bigger-SOUNDАй бұрын
@@LiamKillen nope, i was writing a in Canva than commented here with-ought even considering that “caps” might “hit differently”, my 2 cent are: this mixer is no way near the original V6, this mixer is Sourface Mount tech inside (like Behringer gears are but behringer sell for a fraction)! the magic of rotary mixers is the circuitry, Rotary mixers are superb when summing of the sources so before purchasing one “watch for how is build inside” that is what reflect the quality of sound. Bozak (vintage USA made only not UK), UREI 1629, ISONOE, CONDESA, Varia Instruments and ARS are the best rotary the rest be careful as they are more marketing than substance! Sane Story with synthesisers the only company actually in the world that build PROPER HIGH QUALITY SYNTHESISERS is next to you door and is Studio Electronics now if you open an Omega 8 or a Minimidi than open a Moog one or a whatever modern sequential , ekektron , korg etc you will see that Studio Electronics will look inside like a vintage jupiter 8 all THROUGH HOLE and all the modern products of big brands, moog sequential, korg will look exactly like behringer inside and with this i live you to deduce a conclusion. cheers tho from EU

LOL when you put a delay on a track you usually want to take the low-end off the FX tail to keep the kick clean. But thanks for explaining it to me now I know I should just use the isolator and remove the kick entirely. Thank you Marco Carola for showing me the way of rotary mixing!

@ oh gosh 😅🤦🏼♂️, you don’t even know what you are talking about….is unbelievable how much BS non sense can humans produce just driven by ego and “ me the little me thar want to show of “ instead of learning and adding true value…hope that young folks will not take your “mixing technique seriously” or pure guys will be kicked out of the venue by the sound engineer … 😅😅

Binary? As if binary to 7-segment (digits) couldn't be done with discrete analog components or single few cents chip
@LiamKillenАй бұрын
You’d have to ask Mateo for the specifics on that one haha
@binchsodaАй бұрын
I think the point is this is much more compact, besides it's pretty easy to read, and doesn't ruin the look with a 7 segment display

That’s the kind of mixer that a techno headliner makes the production company rent for him…. It cost a lot and there is a big run around to find it…. Then the headliner ends up not using it.

@anyerquantum.nuclearritesАй бұрын
@ I appreciate that you’re trying to sell me on this mixer, but I want to clarify a few things. First, I’m not particularly into Pioneer gear-I prefer Allen & Heath for its build quality and sound. When your main selling points are its aesthetics and how it suits house music, it comes off as lacking substance. Honestly, it looks more like a toy than a serious piece of equipment. Just my perspective, but I think focusing on the technical aspects and performance would make for a stronger pitch.
