JJ actually does have solos on the album, go buy it. Back when they were doing covers, all us Jcats know he wasn't confident in his vocals to do much solo wise. That face is the face he makes when concentrating on keeping the middle harmony but now even though he's still not the most confident he's definitely shown it in his solos that he's gotten more confident in his voice.

For me Bastille is a pure perfection. And Union J made Pompeii ok, but it could be so much better. I don't know why this first guy was singing high sounds, because he did it really, really bad, despite he's got a great (lower) voice. The best was second guy (who's playing the guitar) and band singing together. Respect for harmony between you (1:23)!
