Is this the same local that sometimes has female crew? I used to wave at them when I lived close by the tracks and she would give a good horn show lol

I don't know. We're usually too busy working to catch the trains, but I'll definitely keep an eye open. I've been told that this Local operates between Alexandria and Oakdale. Odd thing is, we never see it return. So, it likely continues on past Oakdale to the interchange at Kinder or all the way to Lake Charles.

@@redrivergulfrailroad8989 The local actually runs from Alexandria to Lake Charles. There is also a Yard Job that works out of Kinder, and they usually switch the Plywood Plant south of Oakdale, and they sometimes head over to Eunice to interchange cars with the Acadiana Railroad.

Except for a few minor differences, the new GE and EMD models look the same to me.
