The name "bass station" collides with my dislike for anything that is artificially limited. I know it can probably do leads and sfx too, but I'm still not sure it's enough to keep me entertained;)

God i love the Minifreak. An amazing, versatile sound engine, great hands on control. BUT: They should have put it in a bigger form factor with full size keys. It's too good for the MiniKeys.

I thought your patches will change my perceptions of the actual sound of the synth, its al ready on sale so it was good decision for me, it don't have any mojo, it is versatile but I don't like the overall sound

@@Jexus even it is not real polyphonic Pro-3 has a great balance between good sound and versatility and sound has personality, it has more depth even without effects, your patches for Pro-3 showing that very clearly, actually your patches were decisive to buy it

Gotta admit, I find the Minifreak boring af. It makes some interesting patches, but they don’t actually SOUND that interesting. Like there’s just a layer of thinness and gauze over everything. There’s no sense of depth or real mystery. More and more this is how all Arturia stuff is hitting me these days, except the big Brutes.

It sounds so weak and lifeless, like they didn't even bother to code an amp section for it with some character. The basic tone can't even come close to the cheap modules from Behringer... It is such an overrated synth.

I'm taking about the basic tone in some of the main Plaits engines and the lack of character in the amp section in Minifreak, which have nothing to do with anyone's programming skills. By the way, I noticed you own the Microfreak, which does sound a tad better than Mini to me, but I was never a fan of Plaits, and I much prefer Braids over it.
