The "soju" selection at Bawi is probably the best in Springfield! Good job dude!

It makes sense that a Korean restaurant would have the best in town!! 😄

We tried the Ozark mill last February. Very good food, even the green tomato cake! We also tried Lamberts. Jesse is spot on with the Cracker Barrell vibe. Still gotta try Braums for a burger and shake next time we get down that way.

I've not tried the green tomato cake! It sounds intriguing.🤩 Interesting choice of going with Braums. I know there are a lot of areas of the US that really enjoy them but we have so many in the area, we don't tend to think of it!

Lambert's is one of the things I miss about living in the Ozarks. Another is Jimm's Steakhouse.

I'm glad you like Jimm's Steakhouse as much as we do, Matthew!!! Most Springfield veterans know this place, but none of the new ones do 🤷🏻♂️

@@wiserlivingrealty Okay, here's the deal. I'll drive to Springfield. You pay for my trip expenses, and take me to Jimm's. By the way, I remember Jimm's when it was Steak and Ale. Tomorrow (9/24/24) is the sixtieth anniversary of the day I enlisted in the Navy, and you can help me celebrate.. Now as to my hotel, I'll need a handicapped room, please. Then the next day we can catch some rolls at Lambert's.

Hemingway's is a good pick; it's pretty easy to miss/forget with being located in Bass Pro (ergo, not the first place people think to go to get a bite). Also, I apologize to be THAT guy, but while I DO agree that we have the BEST (and original) Bass Pro Shop, it's not the largest--that goes to the Memphis pyramid location by about 35,000 sq ft more. That's the kind of setup we need for our collection space--lol. We love the effort that went into the Ozark Mill renovation. Though I'd never get Lady Laci to partake in the bridge dining--more for the account of her being a redhead and sun...they don't get along. ha ha Sadly, we have a friend coming in from WA state but won't have the time to take him to Lambert's because we know, we KNOW he'd love it! The Alamo is a good one too; we adore grabbing a bite while watching a new movie and their themes that switch out per films is a lot of fun and means there's almost always something new to try. We're Top Brass there; they're our favorite theater too!

It's okay, I'm glad you mention it! The Memphis location is that 535,000 feet, however, if you take our Springfield location of 500,000 square feet and add in Wonders of Wildlife (that's a part of the same building) of 350,000 square feet it comes out to a whopping 850,000 square ft building!! They really should include WOW in the experience since it's all connected together, and all owned by the same company. When you do it's almost TWICE the size of what the Memphis one is. 😂 But if you just accounting shopping only, technically it's a bit less. They really should include it all since it's all a part of the Johnny Morris experience. So many people don't know this though! I'm glad you enjoy our picks for unique dining! We have some good ones.

@@wiserlivingrealty And boom--THAT is how you do it folks! Ha ha, spoken like a TRUE realtor. 😁 Nicely done! And agreed--it should absolutely be included; in fact, WoW should be free to Springfield, MO citizens as a bit of a benefit to living in such an excellent city. Just sayin'.

Honestly, never been to Lamberts lol😂 even in college. What happens if you can’t catch 😂Sports are not my forte 😅. The rooftop lounge is probably my next date night 😂

Oh I'm sure the rolls go on the floor often. Too bad! They wont ever get eaten. 😂 Thankfully I think they hire boys off the baseball team to make sure it's accurate! Also, the rooftop really is beautiful so I hope you have a great experience!!! 🤩
