I think recording a room sound with your phone is brilliant, but are you really going to try and synchronise it to your DAW by pressing record at the same time? 2. Where did you place the second underhead mic 3. Those drums sound great!

haha Its a fair point 😂 but it doesn't take too long and it ended up being worth it 💪🏼Then for the underheads we placed them a little bit in front of the kit with one under the ride and one under the crash. They ended up being about a foot off of the ground. I thought they sounded pretty cool and picked up a lot of cool high end from the kick!
