One of the best wood turning channels. You explain what you're doing so well. I learn something new in each video. Thank you

Wow, I am so impressed by your work. Your precision is incredible as well as your elegance and presentation. You make turning look easier than it is. It’s like the chisel is merely an extension of your arm. I really enjoy watching your videos. Thank you

That is charming. The handle really makes the piece. I have an ancient cedar post that could be left mostly natural on the outside. I think it would do nicely for making an attempt at your design here. It will be larger in size, but I believe it will work. Thank you, Tomislav.

This year, in late autumn, while walking through a cedar forest, I discovered a fallen cedar trunk. The forest department allowed me to take it for myself. On the lathe, under the Stubai cutters, the cedar flaunts its beauty so much that it is impossible to look away. Cedar is my favorite material. I wish you good luck in working with cedar.

Another great project. But each time I see you using the Refiner I want to check if I can already order mine. Still not looking good. Time for another update perhaps? 😎
@tomislavtomasicwoodturning4 күн бұрын
It will probably be a while for next batch of refiners as at the moment Crown is making remaining of the first one. So it will be a while but I'll keep everyone up to date as soon as I have more info. I think Crown didn't expect this kind of demand as well😉

Very nice - do you ever rotate your head stock - i do so when more of a reach.
@tomislavtomasicwoodturningКүн бұрын
Still haven't done it for this new lathe, honestly I think I have never😅😅, I was through woodturning on fix headstock and I don't mind leaning over lathe for some cuts. But I will turn max diameter and rotate headstock for table build in next few months hopefully

Why a "lost art" ? Woodturners make Boxes all of the time. Many specialise in it?
