There are a lot of unsung heroes in hip-hop who got overlooked or their career never took off the way that it should have. K-Solo had a little traction and was watched and studied by some of the greats, but never got the true recognition he deserved. I, myself, like his music but didn't really appreciate the skills he had until recent. I didn't realize that he had such an impact on the game as well. I think that a lot of the people back then who didn't get the recognition that they deserved, look at the "talent" year after year that comes and gets more recognition and I wouldn't blame them if they felt like it was slap in the face to see less talented people get awards and radio play. With that being said, I'm grateful to Unique Access for being true to hip-hop and diving deeper into the culture and giving a voice to these unsung heroes.
