Super ideas. I particularly liked the mesh used for rugs as 1) it’s a lot less messy and 2) it lies nice and flat to make the slippers more comfortable for the wearer. Thanks for sharing, it’s greatly appreciated. 😊

As an update to my comments.. I read the smaller Clear Silicone DAP bottle that I bought because I was finally going to use it tonight, and it says, “Causes Cancer”!!! I don’t want this stuff on the BOTTOMS of my families feet. Just sayin... I’m taking mine back to the store. I have an adorable slipper that I’ve kept so I can replicate it someday and it has little perfect round dots on the bottom. Very thin dots. I thought about Iron-On Transfer that one can use to put a picture on a T-shirt? Cut in whatever shape we want. Then, iron those on. But then again the hot iron would prob melt the yarn unless it’s real wool. ? Goodness! Is there anything non-toxic we can I’m going to first see if it’s toxic too, then decide wether to try it. The bottom line for me just might be that no matter I use, if it’s synthetic, it’s gonna be toxic 😏☹️ I anyone knows different,y, I’d love it if you share it with me. Thank you!!

Thank you! I have used hot glue a few times and have found that it quickly picks up any small amount of dust on the floor and makes the slippers look dirty. It still works okay, and is definitely better than nothing. I am going to try the non-slip carpet stuff next. Great idea!

Just sharing..I measured my body and came up with a rectangle for front and back. Knitted a sample gauge. Measurement using in. or cm. Use a paper tracing you make using a soup bowl if you like for necklines using hold for the non worked sts. Short row or use binding off to shape. Diana Sullivan gives great instructions. I begin with her mock rib hems on a lower tension . Advanced knitters can begin with her Scallops edgings She has other options. Combined with this video and others' tips will accomplish it. My Knitking/Brother bulky gave good results with rectangles for cuffs to where you attach a sleeve to joined from and back. It all works. I made ten sweaters this way.😊 Of neck
