Thanks Unit:E. I just got into my new "DR-8S" and the manual is a drag to read. Much appreciated, The Manual is MY FRIEND when all else fails. So easy to watch , BUT I just do not have time in it yet it is my 2 day. Using it as a $700 Metronome...........All Good.

I can't find a YouTUbe video featuring the drum roll feature of the TR8S. Please post a video on how to create a drum roll. Thank you for postings. I have learned more from you than any other source for the TR8S.

Are you talking about the roll feature that are step pads 12 and 13 in Inst Play mode? Or the Step Loop feature using Shift+Inst Play?

@@UnitE808 I was talking about the Step Pads 12 and 13 in Inst Play mode. However, I need to know the best way to add drum rolls to my patterns. So if another method is better, then I'm all ears!. I am not a drummer. I am a keyboardist. So I don't know how to create drum rolls on the TR8S. My TR*S patterns sound absolutely boring and super repetitive. I need help!! Thanks!

@@soulinspiration1 got it! Substeps and lfos are essential to lively patterns. I'll see what I can come up with.
