One of eight Go-Arounds in a very short period of time as wind and rain from Storm NOA hits approaching Aircraft for runway 27R. This aircraft actually called an emergency and diverted to Edinburgh. It landed safely.

Omg I would die. I was on a flight going into Miami under similar weather and we had to do a go around due to wind sheer although we didn’t get that low to the ground. It was terrifying. We actually didn’t go around because the pilot said we didn’t have enough fuel - don’t you love that. Instead we headed straight ahead to Ft. Lauderdale.

I have flown that very Boeing 767-300 and probably have landed it at LHR. I flew for United for 29 years with the last 14 based at JFK flying the 757/767. That was definitely a legacy United plane as it has Pratt & Whitney engines while Continental planes , whom we merged with in 2010, had Roll Royce engines. I was amazed at the amount of wing flex we see in when they hit turbulence.

Landing gear does not come up instantly. Max thrust first, flaps up about halfway with a positive rate of climb. Then the gear comes up. If you pull the wheels up too soon and settled back down into the runway, it is really ugly.

From my amateur perspective I thought the 787's and 777's handled the winds much easier than the 767's 330's or 350's. The older 737 and A320 were like kites. Perhaps the winds just favored the 787's :)
