They installed SPC over an open crawl space that does not have 18 inches of clearance under the house with a class one moisture barrier. All of the flooring and the entire porch are installed wrong and would have to be redone. The floor will rot in less than 3 years as the SPC vinyl traps moisture in the floor. The cabin brings down the value and the land is the only thing that should be factored in. Im from Maine BTW now living in Texas. I will look for 200 acres in 2025. In my opinion, the cabin(s) bring the price down; they need more work than you think. Is there even an outhouse on the lot? $25k short of $400,000 for a seasonal getaway that requires an additional $10-20k minimum to be suitable to live in?
