Hey Dylan I had this sick idea for a video what if you did a Pokemon video where you chose a pokemon and open a pack of Pokemon cards and whatever the first attack damage that Pokemon card does for example let's say it does 50 damage that becomes the Pokemon you chooses attack, defense and speed stats and the second attack damage determines the special attack, special defense and evasness so lets it is 30 for example. You also get three redraws to choose another pokemon but be careful the next pokemon could give you worse stats and then you are stuck with it. Also their is three modifiers to the card damage you can use three times each round for example let's say the damage is 500 which would make the stats too broken you could cut in half as one of the three modifiers or what say the damage is 50 you could choose to double it to make it 100 and the last modifer is to add a 0 so lets say the damage is 10 it becomes 100 if you use that modifer

It's not always a clear choice...and sometimes, you're stuck with a subpar choice to open up more options. Consider a Skwovet/Whimsicott/Quaquaval spread (with your opponent reading off S/W/Q)...would you risk the Q being something decent (as it holds three starter lines, as well as Quagsire) when you're stuck with a set moveset (as there are 4 Q moves) and one of four abilities or would you risk the S being something bad so you had a bunch of good abilities and moves to choose from?

Q would have been rough, man! Quiver Dance is awesome, but you couldn't even really use it since then all you got left is Quash, Quick Attack, and Quick Guard. Got a couple good abilities though with Queen's Majesty and Quark Drive.

This is exactly why there's a strategy to this way of play. Do you take a crappy letter for moves/abilities, knowing it's a decent Pokémon or do you take a letter that has a bunch of options for moves and abilities and hope it's not something like a Skwovet? Then you've got choices where your past choices come back to bite you; here, Luke was risky grabbing three that start with D, since you can't duplicate moves/abilities.
