Franks stealth rock strategy is pretty smart, but unfortunately all of Dylan’s mons took neutral damage from rocks so it actually didn’t tell him anything 😂

Well, it did tell frank they aren't weak to rock type moves. That is something. It was smart and could've worked out better, but it's a start. Edit, If Frank had used a second to think when he saw Dylan's pokemon maybe he could've seen they would all take neutral damage and wouldn't have wasted his terrakion.

The Idea is to let Pokémon in the wild disguise themselves and finding out what you got by only encountering it... It is like Schrödingers Cat you only find out when you encounter it and See what disguised iself there😅😇😇

Frank couldn't see that name. Illusion only shows you the name of the pokémon you are disguised as. All Frank could see was the Dreadnaw's nickname every time. You can see this if you look at what Frank's pokémon look like from Dylan's perspective.

The funny thing is, I was just thinking about suggesting this as an idea. On another note, next time you see Pecharunt, I suggest using these moves and this tera type: Tera fighting Tera blast, shadow ball, malignant chain, nasty plot. Max spA if you want, but I suggest more boosting its hp and special defense and putting about 100 or so EVs into special attack. Yeah, it’s a tera sink and it kinda has to set up, but it’s good if you play it right, trust me.

Why's that? In this sort of situation (where you don't necessarily know what is on the field), having access to set-up moves is a good stopgap...especially if your opponent ends up using a move to which your Pokémon is immune (forcing either a switch or a different move choice). Yes, Psychic would hit fairly hard to start with, but Stored Power would hit *much* harder with a second turn of setting up...first turn Agility (opponent sets up as well), second turn Calm Mind (opponent uses a neutral move, breaking Illusion), third turn +1 Stored Power at effectively 100 power before STAB.

I'll let you check, the Terrakion under Gyarados's appearance have the same nickname as the actual Gyarados, until it reveal itself of course. Illusion take the visual informations about the copied pokemon : Name, appearance, gender, level
