SEVEN to LFC, SIX to City in a 45 min blitz, THREE to Arsenal, TWO to Newcastle, TWO to a managerless and relegated Leeds at Old Trafford., hardly any clean sheets. Not just wages look at Anthony as an example, the club will never be able to sell him for anything close to what we payed. It was good business from Ajax, it was close to the end of the window they could see how desperate United were and managed to get almost double what he was really worth. Exactly an actual football DOF comes in and looks at this team he instantly sees no bang for the buck. He sees a retirement home and super young players with nothing in between. Zip every player 30 or over out the door regardless to start with. Replace with mid twenties players. The problem is that Ineos have made it clear that this is a fire sale and Sancho is a particulalry dodgy piece of stock to shift with a bad attitude, poor work ethic and sky high wages: no-one's going to bid against them, we're desperate to sell. Expect a near total loss of purchase value and we'll probably end up paying between 30-60% of his wages too, but if Ineos decide to try playing hardball you might easily see him recalled, dumped to the reserves and shifted out like De-Gea in a few years.
