I remember when I was dealing with my divorce, this song helped me see things from Gods view. God allowed me to be vulnerable before him and by His grace, he began to peel the layers that had formed over my heart. Layers of pain, anger, hatred, blaming people...He peeled those layers off and he healed me... Oh indeed your heart is my refuge oh Lord.

When we listen to worship music, look at the cover of a book, stand over a crowd of people, over hear conversations, see someone suffering and much more......we are to share gods joy and his suffering just as we are to love others as he does. These are not choices nor are they options. They are commandments. But the beautiful irony in this is that when you are in Gods true love and he has poured into his mercy, grace and truth you do not have to choose to love unconditionally. You do not have to choose to be merciful. You just do and you just are. This is the fellowship of his sufferings. In today’s world there is much more suffering than love and joy. Gods love is everywhere. It’s in your car, your home, the store, your workplace. It is right next to now. The only place it is not unfortunately is inside many of us today. Over the past 2000 year the enemy has slowly crept into just about every aspect of our lives especially in America perpetuating the destruction of family, marriage and everything that is good. Yes we fight, Those of us that burden ourselves like the soldiers of the book of Nehemiah who took up tools to build the wall, and bows and arrows to fight at the same time. We win battles but the war is not in our favor. We fight for a church that has chosen to submit to society, rather then to God. A church that would rather tell a partial truth rather than offend people with the whole truth. Our kids ministries are place to gather no different that any other in their lives. They are told that all they have to is raise their hands and ask Jesus into their heart. They are taught that the captain of our salvation is “friend”. But if you ask them to raise their hand if they believe they are already saved, and then ask them how they know without a doubt that they are saved..... they are silent and confused. The enemy sits in church next to us and rejoices whole our Heavenly Father Suffers for us. What do we do? What can we do? What did God do after his 400 years of silence following the Old Testament. Wake up brothers and sisters father and mothers. The time is now. Love is they key. Forget everything you know everything you’ve learned. Put it all up on a shelf and seek God alone in a new way with your whole heart. Have nothing but faith and he will give you his true love and you will know without a doubt that you are saved. You’ve crossed that line. But now it is time to go back over that line into the shadows and darkness’s to seek the lost, to lend out a hand pull them up and bring them back over that line with you. When you’ve done that turn around and go back again and again and again and don’t stop until your last breathe. Imagine for a moment after that last breathe entering Gods presence in heaven. What will his pleasure be in you. What will his words to you be. How warm will his embrace be. I tear up just thinking about it. Eyes, Ears, Hands, Heart. May God bless your life for His purpose and may your life glorify His name. And may the fear of God keep you on that narrow path. I love you
