100% agree with KG around ETH developing young players. Progress is not only about PL position. I am thinking the long term. I think he can really create his way of playing with youth and the right new signings in key positions

We have not had our 3 best players from last season playing or in form this season: Martinez Casemiro and Rashford. Martinez in particular sets the tone for the team. This plus 60 injuries sancho, and poor recruitment in 4 transfer windows, stupid preseason tour, could any manager do better? He is making mistakes but in a dysfunctional club any manager will make mistakes and underperform. And he took on our worst PL team ever and got them back to CL, one our first trophy in years and an fa cup final. I want him to have one more season, supported by sales of deadwood and key new buys.

ETH out. We play the same open style every week with no progress. I fear ETH comes back next year playing the same way as this year. I don’t care if we had Rodri playing the ‘6’ position, he would look bad playing in ETH’s current set up. Don’t get me wrong, both the manager and players are to blame, all I know is last year, with a more compact set up, the team looked better.

It was me who called you out Owen but it was just asking how you feel now. You are allowed to change your mind if we lose lose 5 out of our last 7 or win our next 7 it's just how you feel right now at this point. If you were in charge of United would you sack ETH now or not. It's fine to say for now i'd keep him and have another look at the end of the season. Even KG had to give you a side eye when you said i don't know and haven't got an opinion at this point, everyone has an opinion and it's allowed to change. I'm ETH in but that could change but i'd keep him until the summer anyway so he can speak to the new team and give a report on who the snakes are so they know who to sell. That way the new manager doesn't come in and say he wants to keep those players we know will stab him in the back within 18 months. So again Owen, how do you feel right now, would you keep him or would you already but interviewing replacements and have made your mind up to sack him.

You guys didn’t keep this same energy with Ole. He finished 2nd and 3rd and was only 6th place a third into his last season with time to fix things, but everyone said he needed to be sacked and that we could challenge for the title with a good manager.
