Unitronic is pleased to present its 3" Turbo-Back Exhaust System for the MK6 Jetta/GLI equipped with the transverse 1.8/2.0 TSI Gen3 engines. Featuring TIG welded, T304 Stainless Steel CNC mandrel bent construction, stainless steel corrugated flex section, high flow 200-cell metallic catalytic converter, and straight-through, free flowing design; Unitronic's Turbo-Back Exhaust System is designed to remove the factory exhaust restrictions to unleash the full potential of the 1.8/2.0 TSI Gen3 engines.
Like all of Unitronic's Performance Exhaust Systems, a unique v-band fastener system, using T316 Stainless Steel flanges was utilized to ensure a leak proof connection every time. This is achieved through a locking ring on all Unitronic v-band flanges to guarantee a centric alignment of the two flanges. Unitronic's mufflers feature a high density, high temperature glass fiber packing and are stamped with the Unitronic logo.
These attributes combined ensure maximum performance, while maintaining a comfortable and unobtrusive tone inside the cabin. Exiting at the rear, exhaust gasses pass through twin 3.5" slash cut tips and engraved with the Unitronic logo.

It has our Downpipe and Cat-back resulting in a Turbo-Back in addition to our Intake System, DV Relocation Kit and Intercooler.

Hi Unitronic! I have an Audi A5 2013, 2.0T version. I can't find a demo vid of the turbo-back or cat-back exhaust for the Audi on KZbin... Seeing that the Jetta is a 2.0, would you say that this vid is a really similar example of what I could expect if I got the Unitronic turbo-back on my Audi? Thanks for your help in advanced!

haze m it’s a diverter valve, and the factory intake quiets it down. Run an open intake with a pod filter and you will most definitely hear it.

Did you add the TC button how did you deactivate traction control the sound is amazing I will be ordering this for my mk6.5jetta sport

I know this is an old thread but I bought myself a OBD-11 diag tool from UroTuning, though they are sold just about anywhere now. It will allow you to program the ESC button so that traction is completely turned off. I have a 2013.5 GLI so I’m not sure if it can be done with every model as Uni said but if you haven’t already, it’s worth looking into.

It should I have the same thing. When you look for parts, look for 1.8t / 2.0 ..they use some of the same parts even though it may say they don't fit but they do.

Hi there, that's correct, we don't offer tuning for the 1.8TSI non-MQB platform due to some initial reliability concerns. Some other tuners still have options out there but if you are just looking for additional sound, you may opt for our cat-back exhaust system as well.
